The observation of the lansdcape and the broader environment around Bilpin was returned again and again to the water element. .

The dam, the sky, the storm clouds, the water table, fluidity between inside outside, here and there, us and them, hot and cold, wet and dry, el nino, la nina and its relationship between the BIG CI property, the visiting residents and the local communities, all this became the meditation upon which the mark making and thematic development of this body of work grew. The results : Plein air painting, collage, intuitive expressioinsim, handbuilding clay works, felting, writings and a little spontaneous interpretive dance!..
