Collaborating with Agatha Pupaher on the ceramics for the Common Ground exhibition has been a fantastic thing. Kitty Clark, in curating the show, asked that we incorporate and element of green into our “Common Ground” theme.
Agatha and I had met at the Bondi Pavillion. I was a tennant at the Art Studio next-door to the Pottery Studio where Agatha had been teaching and had considered making ceramics to compliment my tree shapes in my paintings. One thing lead to another, and next thing we were working together, discussing our commonalities, and… the ground – Clay and Landscapes. Watch this space for more collaborative works – @joannnadarling
